The latest spam for Facebook is to add not so nice pics to Facebook pages! Guess what I found today!
Today I posted a pic of a really neat old 7 Up Bottle. When I posted the pic...I thought I would check my pics on my page.
I have a personal page and attached to my personal page is my business page DeDa Studio.
On DeDa Studio I had three sections Photos, DeDa Studio Photos and Album. I opened Photos and there were many guys all flipping the finger! I was like "WHAT THE HECK!" There were lots of pictures...not very nice pictures! Right away my brain instantly went to how in the heck was my Facebook Account hacked!
Once I caught my breath I thought I would check the setting. Sure enough...there was the problem. I had my page set up to accept anyone's pictures! That meant anyone could post in my photo albums anything they wanted!
To fix that was super easy
Go to the top of the FB page....
Click Edit Page
Then Manage Permissions
In the middle you will see POSTING ABILITY
Make sure that "Everyone can add photos and videos to Your Page Name timeline" is not checked
If it is checked.....check your pics! You may have many not so nice pics just like me!
Don't worry when you un-check the box the pics will go away!
Let me tell you that woke me up!
That is just wrong. I started getting spam comments. I ban who ever posts those.

ReplyDeleteI had an issue with this a while back...but they must have changed the settings at some point, because my albums were open over two months after I closed them!
