Gosh...this brings back sweet memories. My grandmother always had wardrobes in her home. Her home was build in the late 1880's and she had no closets. Closets were not built into homes in those days...since everyone owned wardrobes. As years revolved the wardrobe was replaced with closets. Thank goodness they are returning as a decor item. So often no matter how much closet space you have...you need a little more storage space.
Today's wardrobes are a little different that the historical ones.
I love the fact that we have said "Goodbye" to the old looking wardrobe and "Hello" to the new high quality wardrobes. I love straight line furniture and wood finish. Check out this example of the wardrobes of 2013! It is a beautiful piece of art that is functional! Perfect for any location in your home. This would match my living room, bedroom, and my kitchen! I wished I had a bathroom large enough for this piece of furniture. Won't it look great in a huge bathroom! Oh my the storage! So if you want to add one thing to your home this year that is classy and stylish....make it a wardrobe.
This is beautiful! I love the color and just think of how much storage it would give you:)

That's really pretty! I had one in the old house we lived in, but it wasn't real nice looking. But this one looks so nice. I'd love to have all that storage space!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE my wardrobes! I use them for everything, and they add such a touch of "vintage" to a home. The modern one you have in the picture looks really nice!
