A day with Davey.........

Davey and I had a CRAZY FUN day! A total blast!  We received some baking items from WholePort.

WholePort is a crafter bakers dream website!  They offer so many great items to check out.

You guys know that Davey is a truck nut!  He LOVES trucks.  When the cake molds arrived Davey went silly crazy!

I had never cooked with silicone backing molds.  I had no idea what to do.  So I decided to treat them just like a regular pan.

That was the right way to go.  

We did fill  the pan too full.  We needed to cut off quite a bit of cake to make the trucks sit nicely. If you fill our pan too full...simple fix. While the trucks are still in the pan....slice off the extra cake!

Davey frosted them himself......cream cheese frosting with treats on top.  The dog has crushed choc chip cookie topping. Some trucks have dog bone sprinkles and the other have red, white and blue stars sprinkles!  He even has a few sprinkles on his lips!
