Rain Barrels

It is amazing the amount of water 
you can save with a 
Rain Barrel.

You can purchase a barrel or make your own.

I found a fun blog with great instructions 
on how to make your 
Rain Barrel. 

ONE of the most important things 
for your barrel is to make sure your barrel is FOOD GRADE SAFE!

  1. We get the barrels that we use from local food product manufacturers (cheese and sausage products.)
    That way the barrel is recycled and I feel better about it not having been previously used for toxic chemicals.
