This year we discovered the best fruit cakes in the world!
In August we were at a Art Fair in
Copper Harbor, Michigan
nicknamed "God's Country".
It is at the very tip of the peninsula of
Upper Michigan.
While we were there we stopped at
"The Jam Pot"
in Eagle Harbor ........a little shop next to
the side of a mountain - operated by the
Holy Transfiguration Skete - Society of St. John.
We bought some bakery items! Everything was fantastic! Around Dec. 4th .... The Man said "Do you think that bakery shop in the UP sells Fruit Cake?" So off to the computer I went to check it out! They sure do! It did not take us long to decide what to get....we choose the variety pack!

Easy to order on-line and delivery was super fast!
Our variety pack arrived!
I can not express in words how delicious these fruit cakes are!! Each evening - we have two pieces! It is our daily holiday celebration!

The Monastic Vocation
We came to the shore of Lake Superior at Eagle Harbor in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan’s Keweenaw County in late Summer of 1983 and began the struggle of building this monastery. The unlikely work of picking wild berries and making jam we undertook during our first summer proved the seed of larger things. Our jam shop and bakery, Jampot, has become one of the best known businesses in our area and now more than provides for our physical needs.
A monastery is more than buildings, business, or outreach. Important as these things are to its life and growth, they do not constitute its essence. Nor can it be reduced to a concept, schedule, program, or rule of life; it cannot exist as an abstraction. Monasticism must be lived, incarnated in the daily life and work of a specific community of real men. It is the community, not the buildings or the concept, that constitutes the monastery.
The Lord has blessed us with growth in this, as well. We pray the growth continue. We invite Catholic men of any Rite — and other sincere men willing to embrace our Faith and Rite — who are free of canonical impediment, to explore the possibility of life in this holy monastery.

This is serious stuff...these Cyber Stalkers and Bullies are out to ruin peoples lives! They will lie, cheat, and do whatever they can to make peoples lives miserable. The people they are attacking have done nothing to them or to anyone else.
They hate them for some reason ....
Who knows why hateful people attack others?
They use God's name in vain and some of them feel that what they are doing is his work! I don't know about your GOD .... but mind would never do anything this harmful or hateful.
Please if you are ever stalked or bullied ....report it immediately!
